La-Z-Boy Names Vice President – Residential Sales
MONROE, Mich. – La-Z-Boy Incorporated (NYSE: LZB) announced that Jim Reilly has been promoted to the newly created position of Vice President – Residential Sales. In his new role, Reilly, 41, will be responsible for leading the group of Regional Vice Presidents and all daily sales activities for the La-Z-Boy brand. He will report to Greg White, Senior Vice President – Sales and Merchandising, who commented on the appointment: “Jim has consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills as well as the ability to forge excellent relationships with our customers while growing our existing base of business. I am confident he will continue to be a strong asset to our team.”
Reilly began his career in the La-Z-Boy.com" target="_blank">furniture industry in 1990 as an Associate Sales Representative with Flexsteel, where he covered the New England Territory. Shortly thereafter, he became a full sales representative for Flexsteel’s Connecticut/Rhode Island territory.
In 1995, Reilly joined La-Z-Boy as a Sales Representative for the New England territory, where he was responsible for servicing all types of La-Z-Boy’s distribution, including General Dealers, In-Store Galleries (predecessor to today’s “Comfort Studios®”) and La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries® stores. In 2006, Reilly joined the La-Z-Boy management team as Regional Vice President – Sales for the Northeast Region, where he managed the region’s team of sales representatives.
