MONROE, Mich. – La-Z-Boy, the nation’s leading manufacturer of upholstered furniture, honored the owners of the La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries® furniture stores that demonstrated the top sales growth during calendar year 2007 at an award ceremony held during the recent High Point Furniture Market in High Point, N.C.

La-Z-Boy honored the top 10 performing Furniture Galleries stores and the top two small and mid-size market Furniture Galleries stores.
In addition to honoring top-performing stores, La-Z-Boy awarded its Retail Partner of the Year award to R. Byron Brown III, owner of the La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries in Augusta Ga., for his dedication to providing exceptional customer service to his customers and bringing comfort into the shopping experience at his stores. The award was established in 2007 to recognize a partner in the La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries retail system that continuously demonstrates his or her commitment and dedication to the company and retail network as a whole.
