Performance Leather

Performance and Authentic Leathers
- Vacuum often and dust using either a dry cloth or one slightly dampened with distilled water. Wipe area gently, do not rub.
- Blot spills quickly with a dry cloth, allow to air dry naturally.
- Do not saturate.
- Clean using a cloth slightly dampened with distilled water or a cleaner recommended for leathers, take caution not to saturate leather when cleaning.
- Use a suede brush to lightly buff leather after cleaning.
Tips to remember
- Keep your furniture at least 12” from intense heat to prevent drying and cracking and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun.
- Depending on use, lighter colors may require more maintenance than darker colors.
- Never use harsh cleaners, chemicals or saddle soaps as they may damage the finish.
- Some darkening is to be expected and many stains will naturally dissipate into the cell network of the hide.
- Take extra care with sharp instruments and animal claws as tears are difficult to repair.
