Southwest Flair

The Netzers moved into a new condo and wanted to keep their southwestern theme from their previous home. They wanted a room where they could enjoy television, music and entertain. But when it came to furnishing it they were a bit lost. We helped them to find fun bright colors and comfortable reclining furniture with tables and accessories that complimented their love for the south west.

Fresh New Living Room

Jean & Dick were remodeling their living room and really wanted a fresh new look. They wanted a room where people can comfortably sit, relax, converse, and read. We helped them achieve the serene room they were looking for by picking out a soothing spa green for their walls and neutral but very comfortable upholstery. The tables added a rich looking contrast to the room. Lamps complimented the design while the area rugs helped pull everything together.

Comfort & Style Discovered

Karen had moved into a new apartment recently and wanted to make it feel more like home. She wanted to walk in after a long day and just feel relaxed and cozy in her surroundings. In keeping with the Tuscan style that she loves, we designed the room of her dreams.

“For nearly six months I combed the furniture stores in the area looking for the perfect style and collection that reflects my taste and need for comfort and style. I tried to envision pieces from one store with another store not knowing if my “eye” for design was accurate. I knew I would risk selecting colors from different dye lots, out of stock merchandise and hours of endless hunting for the right pieces. I work too hard to risk my savings like this and so I confirmed to look on and on. My Journey ended at La-Z-Boy where Steve and Angelica assured me that my efforts did not need to go without help and did they help! I have a gorgeous living area that receives compliments on style and comfort. I had the good fortune of finding an excellent designer and thoughtful salesman in a La-Z-Boy showroom with items that made me smile at the thought of seeing it in my home. A perfect match! For all my decorating needs I’m coming back to Angelica and Steve at La-Z-Boy."

Bold Color Comes Together

In this era of the avid HGTV watcher, I often encounter clients who use vivid colors on the walls. Yvonne was such a person. "I painted myself into a corner quite literally and figuratively. I felt paralyzed about making poor furniture choices after my dramatic paint choices; I loved my colors but didn't have the vision to take the next step."

When I first visited with Yvonne I congratulated her on her wonderful choices. Between the two of us we found the perfect combination of colors, textures and patterns to complement her walls.

Architectural Inspiration

Mary and her husband Victor spent five years building the home of their dreams, but when it came to furnishing it they were at a loss. They wanted to highlight all the architectural details that went into it, but also wanted it to feel like a family home, not just a showplace.

"It was great fun working with Carleen; she understood and appreciated my husband's talent and created a beautiful, yet comfy place for our entire family."
