A Completely Furnished Apartment

Working with past customers is always a treat:

"Carleen was so helpful with my first home that I didn't hesitate to call on her again when I moved into my new loft apartment. She designed the two bedrooms and dining area, as well as the living area and home office space. Included in her presentation were the perfect lamps, rugs and artwork.

She also advised me on the right bedding for the bedrooms.

Working with a design professional made the whole process easy! All I did was give her an idea of my taste and budget and she did the rest."

Traditional Charm with Old World Flair

I enjoyed making this a comfortable, inviting and warm family home for Carolyn, using dark rich colors and traditional pieces as accents...just perfect for a growing family's needs:

"Working with Palm was a real joy. We talked about what I wanted to re-do in each room separately. She listened as I explained the purpose in each and my taste in colors and styles. She made it very easy. What was so astonishing is she really listened to what I had said and made it come to life. Before meeting Palm, I was very reluctant to work with a designer. I thought they would take over and I would have been left behind. That was not the case with Palm. We absolutely love what she has done with our home. She even re-arranged our art work and now they really make a statement too. Thank you Palm!"

A Warm and Welcoming Show Home

Matching the design for The Sacred Heart Home with its unique architectural style was a wonderful challenge:

"The Sacred Heart Christmas Tour home is a charming 1919 Craftsman contemporary bungalow in the heart of East Sacramento. Thank you to Mary Katherine, Interior Designer for La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries, for completing the design with furniture that fit with the style of this home which has been lovingly transformed to its original architectural historical state. In the living room, contemporary art juxtapose the traditional furnishings that complimented the homes' architectural elements. Together, with the coffered ceilings, the Prairie style dining table and leather chairs, made this room take center stage in the home. Beyond the kitchen, the warmth of a great room awaits you with a silver dollar inlayed bar combined with a leather and fabric sectional to create an inviting and memorable time. This home has warm and welcoming pieces of substance and depth that easily support the architectural design while maintaining a sense of relaxed practicality."

Coastal Comfort

Completing Jayne's coastal home was with ease, since she already had such great accent pieces to work with:

"I already had a large collection of nautical accents and some antiques to work with, and Carleen had no problem accentuating them with the right pieces of upholstery and area rugs. Carleen has a great eye for detail; I especially love the trim and braid that make for a nice finishing touch on the pillows."
