Cecile - Cyrville Store Manager

Cecile - Cyrville Store Manager

Cecile earned her Interior Design Diploma from Sheridan’s College of Applied Arts & Technology. Her journey within La-Z-Boy began nine years ago when she was hired by the Kitchener Gallery to implement their In-Home program. She continued on as Designer for the Cyrville Gallery when she moved to Ottawa in 2005. In 2008 she accepted the Manager’s position at the Hunt Club location. The transition from Designer to Manager was a challenge she welcomed. “Everyone in the organization was invaluable during this transition”. She is proud that during her term at Hunt Club, the store won awards two years in a row for placing in the top ten throughout North America. Cecile is now the Manager at the Cyrville location. She draws on her creative skills while aiding in the buying decisions for the floors. “It is crucial to stay on trend without losing sight of what our clientele is looking for: style, comfort and great value. That’s what I love about La-Z-Boy, you don’t have to compromise one for the other!”

Peter - Design Consultant and Assistant Manager

Peter started his career as a professional football player with the Ottawa Rough Riders. After nine years playing football and winning the Grey Cup in 1976, Peter decided to begin a new career in the furniture industry. With over twenty years experience selling furniture, Peter brought his talents to the Cyrville La-Z-Boy Gallery in Ottawa two years ago following eight years at a Metro Toronto Area La-Z-Boy. Peter has had extensive training from La-Z-Boy, completing their management and design courses and winning Peak Performance Awards. Peter’s product knowledge and eye for design allows him to help his clients find the best furniture for their needs.

Camille - Design Consultant

Camille - Design Consultant

Camille has a vast background in design. A graduate of the Residential Decor Program of Algonquin College, Camille spent many years working at Kemp Construction. She became the head design consultant assisting clients with their new build and renovation designs. Camille brought her skills to the Cyrville La-Z-Boy Gallery in Ottawa in 2001 and has excelled as one of our top design consultants winning many Peak Performance Awards. She particularly enjoys meeting her clients in their home to get a true understanding of their needs. Camille and the store designer will then confidently find the best design solution for every room. She takes pride in making her client’s shopping experience a relaxed and enjoyable one.

Clifton - Design Consultant

Cliff’s first brush with the furniture industry was as an upholsterer. You can truly say that he knows furniture from the inside out. Fifteen years ago, he decided to share this technical knowledge with clients by working on the sales floor of high end retailers where he deepened his knowledge of furnishings from all over the world with special emphasis on Italy and Germany. The La-Z-Boy clientele can now take advantage of Cliff’s extensive training and experience as well as share in his high energy. Cliff is a multiple Peak Performance Award winner. He will happily guide you through the multitude of frame and fabric choices available at the Cyrville La-Z-Boy Gallery in Ottawa.

Vickie - Design Consultant

Vickie’s fifteen years as a daycare provider in her home, while raising her own three children, taught her the importance of organization and of setting priorities. She took those skills and applied them in a career selling new homes for a builder. There she often guided home buyers through the myriad of finishes available, ensuring that they created the home of their dreams. In 2009 her passion for interiors guided her decision to join the La-Z-Boy sales team at the Cyrville Gallery in Ottawa. She is proud of having won a Peak Performance Award this year. Vickie enjoys sharing everything she’s learned in the design field. She will take the time to help her clients find the right look for their home.

Wendy comes to the Cyrville La-Z-Boy Gallery in Ottawa with over 20 years of sales experience. The opportunity to work in the travel industry helped her understand people’s needs through listening and communication. Working with people is truly a passion of hers so she particularly enjoys the In-Home program where she can discuss her client’s needs and wants in their home. This allows her and the interior designer to gather as much information as they need to then put an in-store presentation together. La-Z-Boy Delivery Team

At La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries we offer 5 star delivery services. Your furniture will be fully inspected and if requested your leather or upholstery will be treated and protected prior to delivery. We include complete set up of your new furnishings' and removal of unwanted items. Our drivers are courteous and professional and wear protective footwear. The night before delivery you will receive a 2 hour window for your delivery time. We also offer evening deliveries 3 nights a week.
