We bought two We bought two matching Harbor Town Reclina Rocker/swivel chairs because we both wanted the most comfortable chair to watch TV in. Because the room is narrow and guests sit behind us, we chose the swivel so that we can easily turn to have conversation when not watching TV. These chairs are stylish/and very comfortable. When my husband was ill, he was able to sleep on his chair. I would recommend this to anyone and have done so. These chairs are an ivory color leather and easy to keep clean. August 7, 2011
Best all around recliner We bought a very similar recliner to this one, however, ours is cloth. We have had it for over 20 years and yes, it's time for a new one. It makes a wonderful chair for my mother-in-law, who loves to rock and also needs a reclining chair, as she is 91 years old, and it allows her to rest during the day. I would buy this chair again, and our next purchase will definitely by a Lazy-Boy. August 6, 2011
Pretty little chair. I bought this chair in 2010. I needed a small chair for a small room. It has a steel frame. It doesn't set all that close to the wall, tho it is supposed to be a wall hugger. The arms are a little high, it wouldn't hurt if they were 2" or 3" lower. If I have both arms at my side, it's too tight. If I try doing anything other than sit, my elbows rub on the arm material and the material I chose is rough. I loved the color, a warm brown with burgandy stripes. But after using it for a while the nubby fabric dulls and it is rough on bare skin especially the elbows. I wish I had chosen better and that I had gotten the rocker/recliner version. This chair rocks a little bit, making me concerned that something isn't properly tightened. Maybe it's supposed to. Overall, except for the arms, it's a nice size, I love that it comes apart for moving (I brought mine home in my Grand Am.) I also love the higher lift to the leg rest, I need my legs up at near the level of my hips. This chair does that and has two other positions. As for the arms, maybe I'm just too big for the armrests. I tried it at the store, but I didn't try putting both arms at my side. I recommend you do that. The closeness wouldn't be so bad either if I had chosen a smoother fabric. I'm thinking about recovering the arms. That is something you can do. August 5, 2011
