This chair is better than a bed!
I bought this chair over 6 years ago, it is as "hug your butt" comfy today as it was the day I brought it home. It has survived 2 grandchildren, 4 cats and 2 dogs...and more importantly, me. When I am home I LIVE in this chair, and it has REALLY taken a beating.
I work a lot of hours, doing hospice care, sometimes I am gone from home for days at a time, and when I get home this chair is where I head as soon as I get inside the front door. I am quickly joined by 4 cats, a dog and my 8year old grandson. It is a much loved recliner.
Well constructed, cushioned well, the mechanism still works like they did when it was new...the only flaw in it after all these years is where one very determined little kitten got a hold of it on the front left side edge when no one was home. Other than that, it has yet to show any wear on the leg lift, arms, or seat. There has been no shifting or matting of the padding like you get with recliners made by other companies.
I tried a lot of recliners before buying this one... as Goldilocks would say, it's not too soft, it's not too hard... it's JUST right. I have not had one regret since buying it.
For the record I do not rest my eyes while sitting in it, I SLEEP in it, better than in my own bed. Comfort doesn't get any better than this. It's not the top of the line, which goes to prove... La-Z- Boy puts 100% quality into every single product they make.
Sooner or later I am going to have to replace it, that will be a very sad day indeed, this recliner has offered me great comfort on many of my life's cloudiest days, we have shared 100's of books together, and it helped me raise my grandson... let's see another recliner make claims like that!

Ah, relief!
We bought the lancer with the heat and massage option.
While the chair is not AS soft and comfortable with all this hardware in place, you still lie back and enjoy the massage.
The chair was intended to help ease the chronic sore pain in my back. It does help a lot. By using both the heat and massage, then just the heat, in 20 minute sessions. I have more range of motion, and am comfortable for longer periods of time.

A dream to sit in!
I have 2 of these recliners. I have had them over 2 years. They are well made, excellent material and very comfortable! Not too big and not too small- just right for most average people! They clean well and the fabric looks great- even with 5 grandkids!
