Feeling As One With My New Rocka-Recliner
I'm a big guy and I'm hefty too. I have arthritis in my lower back that also makes my recliner my bed . I got tired of buying one of those recliners made in China that would last me only a year or two. My last new recliner broke after two months, and I made up my mind I was going to buy American made.
I headed over to La-Z-boy in Torrance. The salesman was Derrick and I told him what I was looking for, and he showed me the Crandell. The construction of this chair is way better than what I was used to buying . Solid plywood construction and no staples anywhere that I could see. I got it delivered to me two days later and I've been in heaven ever since. I've never had a chair that was built as well, nor as comfortable as this one. La-Z-boy has it's act together from the understanding my needs, making a high quality product and delivering it when they say they will. Everything about them is what most Americans used to be able to expect from a good retailer. You still can get that and at a good fair reasonable price. Its nice to be able to buy American and know you are buying something of this quality.

purchased the crandal had it deliveried Wednesday looked so different in the store I didn't realize how big this chair is , comfortable but entiring to big . I'm very disappointed when I close the recliner there's a loud noise . I'm going to the store today to check out the floor chair and compare size. The workmanship isn't as good as a few years ago.The base of the recliner you can see it's cheaply made.

Poor Quality Chair
The chair is nothing like it was 5 years ago. The mechanism is thin metal, the frame is very thin and about an inch wide in all corners, and instead of made of wood it is made of cheap fiber board. The new mechanism does not have the best features of the old--now it has some plastic parts. There is very little padding in the back and seat. The springs are very sparse. Do not buy this chair. You will be sorry. I am.
