Worst Purchase Ever
I bought one of these after Katrina. The leather is dyed vinyl. The foot rest is broken. Parts started falling out from under the chair after about 18 months of use. Never again I buy a "leather" chair.

holds this big lady well
finding a sofa no longer was working in my living area I ventured with a recliner rocker though I went to the store for the Crandel sofa. The rocker recliner provided more options and the placement options were so much better. I upgraded to softer leather as well.. I do at time have pillows behind me when in sitting position or using rocker. But when in any recline position, oh so comfy. And yes staying awake is a problem. I can sleep for several hours unintentially. I do wish it swiveled too but not at cost of rocker...cannot have it all. AND, the cat so far has not gone for it as she did with chenille sofa...she has adopted the second Crandell has hers!

Disappointed
I've had two back surgeries and it hurts my lower back after sitting in it for the length of a movie. The cushion behind my head exceeds the the back and lumbar cushions and you sit with your head forward. This not a good thing after having an upper vertibrae fussion. It needs the back cushion and lumbar area built up 3 1/2 and 4 1/2 inches to resolve the problem.
