Before I was married, I had a La Z Boy recliner that was about 15 years old. It was without a doubt my favorite chair. After I was married, my wife wanted to do some remodeling. It did not include my recliner.
Well, after four years, I finally convinced her that we needed another one, and she agreed...as long as she could pick it out.
We decided on the Pinnacle. It is just the right size, very comfortable and has the traditional mechanism, which is exactly what I wanted. You can put the feet up without the back reclining, and vise versa. Ir rachets back to several positions...It adjusts to exactly how you want to sit or recline.
We looked at many recliners of other makes, and they just did not measure up. There was always one or two things I didn't like about them.
The La Z Boy Pinnacle, however had everything I wanted, and was the most comfortable as well.
I plan on having this chair as long as my last one.... If my wife lets me!

Couldn't be happier
The Pinnacle is the most comfortable chair I've ever owned. My preference is the leather but we also have 3 more of the cloth version. I liked the first one so much, I didn't hesitate to put one into my man cave in our vacation home. My wife liked it so much, we put two more into the living room. We'll really be looking forward to vacations knowing these chairs are here waiting for us!

Poor quality on 2 custom orders
My husband and I ordered 2 Pinnacle chairs in Feb 2012 with different custom fabrics; they arrived in early April. Chair 1 was received with obvious flaws in the fabric and poor filling quality/upholstery technique. Dealer agreed to pick up and replace with an in-stock chair. Chair 2, after 2 months, is already showing signs of the filling/cushioning material on the front of the seat flattening out, leaving the fabric loose and wrinkled, and becoming indented along the front of the seat. These are our second La-Z-Boy chairs (the first were purchased in 2001) and will be our last.
