SHOULD HAVE BEEN WONDERFUL re: Crandell model recliner. Other large people may find this to be the perfect chair--if they are very tall. I am short however, and the top of the chair pushed my head so forcefully forward that after sitting and sleeping in it for only 2 days, my neck hurt down into the top of my shoulders and down my back with sharp pain. Unfortunately. I really wanted this chair to work. It's plush and perfectly comfortable in the foot kick and seat and arms, till it reaches the very top cushion of the back. I wish I were taller. The ratcheting mechanism is interesting and easy to use, just do a tummy crunch and back into the seat to adjust the position. The handle is not the easiest to use, which clinched the 3-star rating. Why can't they do an easy-reach handle to get the leg rest lifted up--which is not just this chair but most recliners. Fabric was very nice, an “elemental blue”. But I did have to return it. Salesperson was understanding and honored the 48-hour notice. I love the security of a guarantee covering any springs and framework problems and will continue to shop for a replacement chair at La-Z-Boy. :>( April 15, 2013
