Q: Where can I view your product line?
A: For your convenience, we have included a highlighted sampling of our furniture from the hundreds of styles and wonderful fabrics that are available to complete the living space in your home. You may view our furniture by accessing furniture on this Web site. You may also view our furniture by visiting one of more than 300 La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries who sell our products exclusively. Their well-seasoned staff of sales personnel and designers will assist you in transforming the rooms in your home into a spectacular showcase for your family. There are also more than 500 Comfort Studios that feature a special area dedicated to La-Z-Boy products. Some Furniture Galleries Stores and Comfort Studios offer the Screen Test® System which allows you to view the many combinations of fabrics and frame styles that can be produced and special ordered just for you. Remember, it is best to view the fabric swatches that the dealers have within their galleries for the best representation of color.
Q: I am interested in a specific style and fabric, can you tell me which authorized retail dealerships will have what I am looking for in stock or on display?
A: Unfortunately, we do not have a record of product inventory for the retail locations. Please contact any authorized La-Z-Boy retailers directly to inquire about a specific style in a specific cover. To find dealers, please use find a dealer on our Web site.
Q: I found a fabric I really like, but the salesperson told me it could be upholstered on a sofa, but not on a chair. Why?
A: Each fabric that we have available for you to choose from has a "cap code" or cutting application code. A cap code tells the factory the proper direction the fabric needs to be cut and upholstered on the piece of furniture. Some fabrics have large print designs, stripes, and repeat lines and are not available on every style due to the different sizes and shapes of the furniture. Your authorized La-Z-Boy retail dealer will be able to advise you of the cap codes and which fabrics are allowed for each style.
Q: May I have my furniture covered with my own fabric?
A: Customer's own material, or C.O.M. fabric, may be used for Reclina Rocker, Reclina Way, Reclina Glider, the Classics recliners and the Complements chairs and ottomans only. We do not allow C.O.M. fabric on sofas, loveseats or modular groupings. The fabric must be pre-approved by our manufacturing plant before it can be accepted. While it is not a necessity, you can provide the retail dealer with at least one yard of the fabric for them to send to the plant so they can ensure that they will be able to be upholstered on the chosen chair or ottoman. C.O.M. fabric must be a plain pattern and 54" wide in one uncut piece. Your dealer will be able to advise the appropriate yardage needed for a particular style. Unfortunately, we cannot accept quilted fabrics, stripes or any fabric that would require pattern matching. C.O.M. must comply with the U.F.A.C. 1 rating. La-Z-Boy Incorporated can assume neither responsibility nor liability for the durability, tailoring variation, flammability or any other characteristics of C.O.M. fabrics. Because of dye lot variation on fabric rolls, colors may not match exactly. This option is only available in the United States.
Q: May I purchase fabric yardage from you?
A: You may purchase yardage through your local La-Z-Boy retailer. They can advise you of the price per yard. Our fabrics are 54” wide.
Q: Does La-Z-Boy offer reupholstering services?
A: La-Z-Boy does not offer reupholstering services. Please contact a local upholsterer for assistance in having your furniture recovered.
Q: May I order a swatch from you?
A: Your Local La-Z-Boy retailer has the ability to order swatches through their normal channels. Please contact them directly for assistance.
Q: What is leather match?
A: An alternative to 100% leather, leather match combines top-grain leather on the portions of the furniture you sit on and touch with skillfully matched vinyl on the sides and back of the furniture.
