HELPING MY HUSBAND POST-SURGERY

My husband is recovering from a leg amputation. He has to keep his leg elevated and uses his recliner day and night. To help him during the night time, I sleep in a La-z-boy recliner that is worn out. I really could use a NEW LA-Z-BOY RECLINER OR LOVE SEAT.

Teddy Bear Chair

Many years ago when I was a new mother I received a most special gift for Mother's Day. I had given birth to my second child fourteen months after having my first. I was a young stay -at -home mother and needless to say, a little overwhelmed. That Mother's Day, my husband suprised me with a large, overstuffed Lazy-Boy recliner. Deep chocolate brown in color. I called it my Teddy Bear Chair. I rocked all my babies in that chair every day, several times a day. We cuddled and rocked and read many, many books in the Teddy Bear Chair. Later, after having my third child, it would hold all four of us. Rocking and reading. It became our cozy retreat and a big part of my childrens bedtime ritual. We all loved that chair.
Years later, after my marriage ended and I relocated to much smaller quarters, I was heartbroken to find that my chair couldn't fit in my living room. The Teddy Bear Chair was too big. I was urged to leave it behind, but I couldn't. Rather than destroying it or abandoning it, I found a young family who was expecting their first child. They didn't have much when it came to furniture (or anything else for that matter). My heart told me to offer them the chair. They both gladly accepted and when they came to pick up the chair, I told them of the wonderful qualities of Teddy Bear and how it held all four of us while we rocked and read. They tried the chair out, thanked me and then loaded up the Teddy Bear chair in their truck and drove away. I hated to part with my treasure but I knew that it would be well used and loved by that young family. It made my heart happy to know that that young mother and her child would be rocking and reading in our Teddy Bear Chair.
I still think of the Teddy Bear Chair and have many fond memories of sitting and rocking my children. Everyone should have those kind of memories, I had to pass on the love.

Life to My years

I have suffered from sciatica pain for many years. Recently I have purchased another Lazy Boy Rocker Recliner. I now can say that Lazy Boy has given me quality life to my years. The only thing better would be to win additional Lazy Boys to give years to my Life.

It is such a pretty site to see your grand child sleeping on the recliner...and so we had to get one just for her...

Relaxation after a stresfull day

I'd just like to have a nice quality relining chair that I can be proud to have in my home for when I have guests, and so that I can relax in after a stressfull day
