One chair fits all
We purchased this chair almost a year ago. Due to where we placed it, we added the swivel/rocker feature. It is used by both my 6'3 husband and 5'0 daughter. Once either one sits down, they don't want to get up. After a year of every day use (and abuse by teenagers), it still looks brand new. It is such a comfortable chair with the rocker/swivel, that we frequently don't even put our feet up, we just use it as a rocking chair.

My husband and I both were having issues with our previous chairs giving us severe neck pain and then going into bad headaches.
Like most of the other reviewers, we sat in every one of the recliners and kept coming back to the Maverick. After we decided on that style, we sat in our chairs of choice, I got the rocker/recliner and he got the wall hugger recliner, for about a half hour to see if our necks ached or our head ached. Neither of us had any issues so we ordered them.
Now that they have been delivered, we are happier with them then we even thought we would be. We have been neck/head pain free for about 3 weeks now.
What a Blessing these chairs have turned out to be!

Cannot have the best of both worlds
As a recliner the chair is great. But when I sit in it and start to rock the chair wants to recline and not stay upright. So I tightened the wingnuts which helped some but did not work perfectly and also the recliner did not want to go back in place by itself because the tightened wingnuts prevented it from doing so. So customer service was bringing me a new chair and i asked the delivery man about it and he said that you cannot have the best of both worlds. He said the new one will do the same. So I give Lazy Boy one star for design because the rocker and recliner do not work well together. But I am keeping it because it is so comfortable as a recliner.
