Comfortable for the bad back
I needed to find a comfortable recliner after finding out that I had a herniated disc. I was hesitant in purchasing a recliner bc of the price range. I went to the LaZBoy store and was greeted by a sales lady who had me sit in a number of recliners. I didn't realize why some were larger than others, why some had more padding etc. But she was able to explain this ins/outs of the different types. Once I sat in the Joshua (fabric), I was hooked. It was so comfortable and I couldn't find another chair that came close to this one in comfort. The bonus was that the price was reasonable. I didn't want to spend over a thousand dollars on a chair so this was a good price. I'm able to do computer work using a laptop table and recline without being in pain.
This model may not be for everyone because it all depends on your size, comfort, etc., but I would highly recommend going to one of the stores and trying out all the recliners and sitting on each one for about 5-10min to see if you encounter any discomfort. That is the only way to tell.
When we decided on a chair, we were able to just load it up into the bed of the truck and be on our way. The back of the chair is easy to remove w/o much effort. With two pieces (the base and the back) it can also fit in the back of an SUV without any problems.
Our next purchase will most likely be another recliner and possibly a sectional.

I just recieved my new furniture. This is the most comfortable recliner I have ever sat in. The value I recieved when I purchased the pieces I bought was great as well as the service I recieved from the La-z-boy gallery in Farmingdale, N.Y. The adjustments to the reclining feature are really easy to make, and the quality of the furniture is apparent when you look under the furniture.
