WE'VE HAD TWO OF THESE FOR A FEW DAYS NOW AND REALY LIKE THEM. VERY COMFY. CAN FALL ASLEEP IN THESE EASY. THEY RECLINE BACK MORE THAN OUR OLD RECLINERS AND LEG ELEVATE HIGHER. WE HAD TWO RAISED LEG LAZBOY RECLINER FOR TEN YEARS BEFORE THESE. THEY NEED TO BE REUPHOLSTERED AS THEY STILL WORK PERFECTLY. WE ARE GOING TO USE THEM AT OUR VACATION HOME. LIKE OUR LAZBOY CHAIRS

Loud noisy when closing footrest
My husband ordered the non-fabric, which is a new type of vinyl or the like. The cover is attractive and it can be cleaned - that is a plus. However, the chair makes a heck of a clunk - actually two clunks whenever he puts down the footrest. We called the store and they said to try lifting the weight of the feet off the footrest, but that doesn't work effectively every time if at all. Sometimes the clunk is so loud it makes me jump out of my skin - almost. So, make sure you try the chair out a couple times in the store before taking it home. We have owned recliners for 40 years and have never had such a noisy one. Also, the seat doesn't seem to be very firm or supportive so I'm wondering if it could break down after a couple years. My husband is medium weight and 6' tall.

My husband is a tall, big man and he fits well and is so comfortable in this wonderful chair. The back fits him well hitting just right for his shoulders, neck and head. Feet sit on the ground. Very nice, well fitting, comfortable chair.
