We purchased a love seat, sofa , and large footstool almost 20 years ago. I can honestly say if it were not for slight wear and a loss of support in the cushions (only recently) would I be thinking of a new set! Our kids were 1,3 and 5 at the time and this furniture has lived through a lot! We added our fourth child after this and we still have the furniture today in our main family area. I can say I have never been sick of the pattern or the style and plan to keep it for the lower level someday. This furniture has made many a "fort" been a trampoline more times than I can count and as the boys were older they used it to run and long jump over. Now the boys are 25 and 23 and it gets regularly miusused as they wrestle and fall into to it constantly. It may sound as if we let our kids misuse our belongings...not true. We believe in living on our furniture and not saying no to the things that don't matter in the long run. We are blessed with these kids and can say we enjoyed it all. Our kids are now 25, 23, 21, 16. We have all intentions to get a new set of lazy boy furniture. I keep telling my husband that maybe next year. I have been saying that for several years now. My husband lost his job after 911, we lost our home, but we had each other. We look forward to the time we can save up enough to go in and buy a new sofa, loveseat and footstool. I wouldn't even think of another brand and am online often putting a new fabric to the style I love at the moment! Love the new prints! Thanks for taking the time to let me tell you how much I love LAZY BOY!
