A day in the Life
Everyone feels stress these days, including me. I am a registered nurse, working full time. At the end of the day I come home to my wonderful family which includes my daughter who is physically and mentally disabled. She requires total care. I have been doing this routine now for 23 years and would love to have a comfy chair to unwind in when she is in bed for the night.

Lazy Boy sure beats the electric chair!
Well, my wife and have owned Lazy Boy recliners and other pieces of furniture we purchased at Lazy Boy more than ten years ago, It has all held up incredibly well through several years, and several moves. We both have worked in the Florida Prison System for many years, including Dearth Row!. Extremely stressful and very hard, difficult work. Our maximum security "customers" are very different than what most people deal with.
We also are raising two young boys. A pleasure, but again, stressful. When we come home, we first take care of our boys, and then after all the chores are done and dinner is over, our Lazy Boy recliners help us settle in for an evening of relaxing TV and stress reduction. This old fashioned remedy is tried and true. Our home entertainment armoire, matching book cases, end tables, sofa, loveseat and even some wall paintings were all bought at Lazy Boy and over the years have given us a very comfortable environment to relax and entertain in. We are now looking for a reclining love seat with massage built in.
To conclude you might say that Lazy Boy has provided us with the total opposite of death row!

Stress two years and running
Alright, here we go.... I am on my last few months of being in the military ending a 22 year career which sounds nice. The issue is I should have retired 2 years ago and was found eligible to retire only to have it reversed 50 days prior to my big move from California to Arkansas which caused so many problems. I had preplanned and already purchased my future home for myself, husband, and then my two year old and newborn. Since I was not able to leave I had house payments of about $9000 which has just about put me in bankruptcy from a perfect credit score. I lost any equity I had in my lived in home and my new home which I had started to furnish got broken into with the thiefs taking everything down to the diapers I had in the house- I also had to repair the roof there and a leaky upstairs commode resulting in black mold which led the builder to flee dismissing my one year warranty. I have also been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and haven't had any luck obtaining a new job to pay my current bills.
Now that's some stress and I could definitely add more to this unfortunate story.
Thank God I have two healthy children who love my husband and I. I really like my new home and would like to keep it and since I've had La-Z-Boy furniture from when I got married in 1991, it's held out extremely well but the fabric is outdated. Winning a new set would be phenomenal!
Thanks for letting me share.

Accident Prone
After being in a car accident almost a year ago I have realized that I have been in four auto accidents in my life. The last accident left me partially disabled, losing two discs in my neck and two more in my lower back. Now after a trip to the doctors or even a store I am totally exhausted. All I want to do is get as comfortable as I can and relax so I can watch my favorite TV shows.

Healing Chair
I recently took a bad fall in my kitchen and for the first time in my life broke a bone in my arm. After a week I had surgery on my arm and with out my old La-Zy Boy recliner I would not have made it. It has been the only way I could sleep. It has been a very stressful time in my life but I am so thankful for my old faithful recliner and thank you for the opportunity to win a new piece, that would be amazing!! Thanks
