I have a 180 teenagers in my life on a day to day basis. I teach 7th and 8th grade. I truly love the age, but as many know it can be difficult at times. The school I teach in is a very low economic status, so many of my students come from difficult home lives. On a day to day basis I am helping students learn about education and the importance it has in their lives. Along with the education lessons I also help many of them survive the trials of being a teenager and also the trials of their family lives. So, by the time I get home my days have been very emotional and all I want to do is relax. However, very rarely do I get to sit once I am home. My two wonderful children 7 and 2 are busy and want to play so we play and get dinner ready while my husband gets ready for his evening shift. He works nights in an ER as a nurse, so the kids don't have to do daycare full time. So, very rarely do we have time to sit together and relax. We are usually having dinner and saying our goodnights as he walks out the door. Then it is time for tubs and bed for the kids. Once the kids are asleep it is my time to sit and reflect on the day. It would be wonderful to sit on a beautiful Lazy Boy couch and recline and relax after a typical busy day with my evening cup of tea. And on those evenings my husband does have off it would be wonderful to curl up with him and have some time together watching a movie or if it was a weekend the whole family relaxing on a new couch (our current couch is 11 years old) and enjoying family time which is truly relaxing and rewarding. New Lazy Boy furniture would provide us some welcome relaxation from our busy, but rewarding days.
