Potwin, KS. I'm a single guy with a house of hand-me-down furniture. When I got back from Iraq, of course I was jumpy and uneasy, especially at night. My La-Z-Boy recliner is quite old and well worn, but the nights I couldn't sleep I'd get up and go to the living room and kick back in my chair. I could close my eyes, take a deep breath, wiggle around and know I was home, relax and sleep. Mike W.

As a father of two active boys, my downtime is minimal. They always want to go, go, go. I look forward to an occasional day just relaxing. Last Father’s Day, my sons amazed me. Instead of their normal, “let’s go”,
they did something out of character. They handed me a card and inside it said, “Have a very comfortable Father’s Day”.
Then they took me to the family room where there was a new La-Z-Boy recliner waiting for me. I have two great sons and a comfortable La-Z-Boy recliner.

My house was flooded by hurricane Katrina. My favorite chair was my La-Z-Boy recliner. We evacuated to Texas and temporarily located to an apartment in Alexandria, LA, where we stayed for two years. When we were furniture shopping for the apartment, I told my husband I didn’t want a sofa, just a La-Z-Boy recliner. We bought two matching La-Z-Boys. We just bought a new home and, of course, the La-Z-Boys came with us. I can’t imagine a home without a La-Z-Boy recliner. Krista R.
