In the spirit of partnership, La-Z-Boy annually donates furniture to all Ronald McDonald Houses® and Ronald McDonald Family Rooms® in the U.S. and Canada. In each community, La-Z-Boy store associates deliver furnishings and support to these caring respites where participating families can find comfort and compassion.

We are very pleased to announce that La-Z-Boy, Inc. has agreed to become the Official Furniture Provider for the Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®). This partnership is in excellent alignment with La-Z-Boy’s core mission to help people live life comfortably. Ronald McDonald Houses provide a “home-away-from-home” for the families of children undergoing medical treatments, which can be lengthy and costly. Each of the 281 Ronald McDonald houses around the world feature family rooms, living rooms, play areas and kitchens, where families can relax after stressful days. Many of these rooms will now be furnished with comfortable La-Z-Boy® furniture. By combining comfort with a worthy cause, we will truly be living our mission of helping people live life comfortably at a time when they need comfort like never before. We are in the process of giving the local Edmonton RMHC furniture for the new 30 room development! Updates to follow as the project continues.

The Quilt A Breast Cancer Support Project

The Quilt A Breast Cancer Support Project

THE QUILT raises funds to provide emotional, informational and physical support for people living with cancer, their family and friends, nationally. The QUILT funds the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation’s national website initiative CaringVoices.ca, Wellspring national network sites currently in Ontario, Alberta and Nova Scotia, and Canadian Cancer Society support programs in other provinces. Every year, we host the travelling quilt show in our stores. This year we hosted the show at our west end location from August 15 - 22nd. Many people viewed the 70 incredible handmade quilts displayed at our store.
