Sales Representative
Job Description

La-Z-Boy is one of the world's leading residential furniture
producers. We have one of the most well-known and trusted brand
names in the furniture industry. La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries has
an opportunity for a full and/or part time Sales Representative in
our Louisville market. The full time position is commission based
and is eligible for benefits including 401K, vacation, and health
care. This individual is responsible for creating sales of the
La-Z-Boy products, utilizing exceptional customer service and
product knowledge. The Sales Representative will also strive to
create long term customer relationships that will lead to increased
sales. We place value on teamwork, positive attitude, enthusiasm,
ability to learn, as well as personal motivation and drive. We
offer special discounts to all employees on their furniture
purchases. Optional 4-day work week available.
The part-time position is paid $13.50 hourly plus bonuses.
The responsibilities include:
- Ensuring that each La-Z-Boy customer has an informative and
positive experience through the utilization of superior customer
service and knowledge of the La-Z-Boy product offerings
- Meeting individual sales goals and contribute to the store's
overall sales goals through the demonstration of professional sales
skills
- Providing superior "after the sale" service to build rapport
and increase future business
- Maintaining a positive working relationship with all sales
associates and management
- Ensuring the La-Z-Boy Gallery always represents a professional
atmosphere in culture and appearance
- Being a good listener and clearly communicating effectively the
clients wants, needs, and desires
- Assist with maintaining the overall appearance of the store,
this includes, but is not limited to, maintenance of floor/showroom
displays, tagging product and accessories, and general store
cleanliness.
Job Requirements
- High school graduate required, higher education is
preferred
- Flexible scheduling (we will work to try and accommodate your
schedule)
- Prior retail sales experience is preferred, but we will train
the right person
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer skills required
