The Crawford Refractory Dining Table captures the spirit of Kincaid Furniture and our commitment to making an honest product using the best techniques available. More than just a beautiful piece of solid wood furniture, this unique table makes adding and removing leaves a simple one-person task. Two leaves self-store under the ends and can be extended to add four additional seats. To build such a table using solid wood, we utilize a bread-board. This adds strength and stability to the large solid wood surface and allows it to go through subtle expansion and contraction with seasonal changes. The joinery that makes it all possible is exposed and becomes part of the character of the table. This particular joinery is a genuine pegged mortise and tenon and can be seen with close inspection on the ends of the table. It also features the Kinguard performance finish to help protect the top surface, giving you a little extra time to clean up any spills.
